A Composite Resilience Index (CRI) for Developing Resilience and Sustainability in University Towns

Globally, most higher educational institutions can no longer house their students within campuses due to the increased number of enrolments and unavailability land for spatial expansion, especially in urban areas. This leads studentification which negatively impacts university towns. Developing resilience against negative will make towns more sustainable. However, there is existing community index designed that purpose. Thus, this study develops a composite towns, using Akoka, town Lagos, Nigeria, as case study. The composites were determined by prioritizing online user-generated content mined from Twitter between 1 January 2010 31 December 2021 artificial intelligence, while elements risk reduction developed through Delphi analytic hierarchy process. research outcomes showed physical, economic, social, cultural criteria subjected comparisons represented ≥70% total weights.
